Description of the pheromone trap
Our moth pheromone trap is specially designed to withstand harsh outdoor conditions. It features a sturdy plastic frame with a yellow cone, a protective green roof, a transparent bucket, a pheromone basket, and a convenient hanging rope for easy installation.
Functioning :
The trap works simply but effectively: the hanging rope allows you to fix the trap at the desired height. The pheromone basket, strategically placed in the center of the green roof, attracts the pests which, once exhausted, fall into the bucket below. The latter can contain a soapy water solution that finishes off the pests without using harmful chemicals.
Facility :
For maximum protection, traps should be hung at regular intervals, allowing effective coverage of the targeted area depending on the type of crop:
Precise targeting of pests
This trap is effective against a wide range of lepidopteran insect pests, such as tomato leaf miner, codling moth, fruit fly, and many others.
Note that insect-specific pheromones are not included with the trap and must be purchased separately to effectively target your crop-specific pests.
